Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 379 to feature at Melbourne Boat Show

After the world launch of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 379 at the Sydney international boatshow in July, the model has has had massive success on the world stage.

The 379 has been awarded Cruising World's 'Boat of the Year 2012' award. "The Sun Odyssey 379 was the whole package, a boat that sails exceedingly well with a smart, functional layout,” said Boat of the Year director and Cruising World senior editor Herb McCormick. “The judging panel was particularly impressed with the boat’s dual helms and outstanding manoeuvrability under sail and power.”

The Sun Odyssey 379 is currently among the finalists for the European Yacht of the Year 2012.
