Designed by Blakewell/White and built by Hakes Marine in New Zealand for a local one-design competition that was up against the Farr 40 at the time, this Z39 in Melbourne is ideal for short handed or fully crewed inshore/offshore racing and is the sistership to the reknowned Jazz Player.

Built from epoxy, balsa/foam and e-glass with a carbon reinforced 3m fin keel, this boat is rigged with a Southern Spars carbon mast and boom, and a massive/as new sail wardrobe including 3 x Doyle laminated carbon asymmetrical sails worth $40,000 that were made within the last two years by the current owner intending on doing the Melbourne-Osaka race.

Includes new Icom HF radio, laptop with Expedition software, new Simrad autopilot, 4 man softpack liferaft, heavy duty Lecomble-Schmidt 40ST16 hydraulic linear ram for autopilot, lightweight lazy jacks, plus a number of cruising option including a removeable electric windlass and saloon table. Only item required for Cat 0 or Cat 1 racing is the safety certificate!
