Great little boat with a huge pedigree, the Boston Whaler 150 Super Sport is a go anywhere, do anything kind of boat. It can be used as a tender, for fishing, or just a leisurely cruise around the harbour with your family. This 2010 model is powered by a 60HP Mercury EFI Four Stroke Big Foot outboard giving it plenty of punch, comes with a full set of camper covers, forward bed infill and has been well serviced and maintained. Boat Test.com in its review noted:

“Hull construction is classic Whaler: a moulded and bonded fibreglass hull and deck filled with foam that keeps it a float and stable even when swamped. The hull design is a moderate modified V-bottom with 14 degrees of deadrise at the transom and wave taming chines that extend to the U-shaped bow. It’s a recipe for stability and comfort.

The test boat is powered by a Mercury Four Stroke 60 EFI BigFoot outboard. Along with fuel-saving EFI, the BigFoot has a beefed-up 2.33:1 ratio gearcase. Often used on heavier boats and pontoons, the BigFoot adds durability and bottom-end muscle on the test boat.

On the water that means acceleration to 20 mph in about five seconds and to 30 mph in 10 seconds. Top speed is 37.4 mph at 6000 rpm. The 150 planes easily, runs solidly and tracks well at all speeds. It never feels loose or sketchy, even when trimmed right out. Waves may slow the 150 down but won’t stop it.

Part of the 150 Super Sport’s charm is its simplicity. Buyers can add optional coloured hull wraps, but the basic boat is white fibreglass inside and out, meaning clean up is simple – just hose down, scrub and open the drain”

This boat has always kept out of the water, it is not antifouled and does not include a trailer however one can be sourced that would suit. Available for inspection now at our marina
