The 2019 Sydney International Boat Show is fast approaching and the local Jeanneau dealers are on board with a great selection of yachts for you to visit.
Leading the fleet is the magnificent Jeanneau 54. Designed by renowned naval architect Philippe Briand, the 54 reflects Briand’s extensive superyacht experience with the result an innovative and original design.
The new Sun Odyssey range was released last year when Jeanneau Australia premiered the Sun Odyssey 490 and 440 at the Sydney Show. The Sun Odyssey 440returns this year after winning multiple awards and we are very pleased to announce that the new Sun Odyssey 410 will make it’s Australian debut.
The Sun Odyssey 410 has been designed by Marc Lombard and benefits from all the latest advances in technology combined with features such as:
- A hard chine running the full length of the hull for a more powerful and stable hull
- An inverted bow for fine entry, better weight distribution and a distinctive look
- The bow stands clear of the water for less drag and greater speed
- Self-aligning rudders with self-aligning bearings for an improved feel on the helm
- A powerful retractable bow thruster for greater maneuverability
- Cathedral standing rigging with walk around decks for ease of movement
- An integrated bowsprit
Also joining the display will be the best selling Sun Odyssey 349. Over 40 SO349 models are sailing Australian waters with the numbers necessitating a regatta all to themselves which runs annually in Sydney. Another Lombard design, the 349 is the perfect combination of performance, comfort and safety at sea.
The smallest Sun Odyssey in the fleet will also be having it’s Sydney Boat Show debut. The Sun Odyssey 319 is a lot of yacht with a modern hull with a sharp chine giving added stability, performance and a greater control. The twin rudder design provides exceptional control at every sailing angle, increases safety and redundancy at sea and also reduces any vulnerability when you enter shallow anchorages. The SO319 has a CE rating of Category A, unlimited ocean, which will provide you with a piece of mind that it can handle the conditions when they deteriorate.
